What a fantastic place, staffed by volunteers. It was a perfect 'filler' for me between visiting Harrow Lodge parkrun, in Hornchurch, then witnessing Margate's victory in their football match against Hornchurch. The staff were friendly, and knowledgeable. There's a cafe, but there was no 'plant' milk. I normally have some in the car, otherwise I would have stopped for a drink.

Absolutely top notch museum/heritage centre relating to RAF Hornchurch, Sutton's farm, and local "hero's" Very very well set out with lots of information. Well run with knowledgeable volunteers. Not the biggest car park but okay.

What a amazing museum ! I have wanted to visit the airfield and museum for a while as I lived in the area as a child over 40 years ago. It is so well laid out and visually very exciting. We certainly did not give ourselves enough time. We spent two hours and still felt we rushed it, so will have to return. The display are clear and well explained. The volunteers on the day from the lady on reception and in the coffee shop to the two ex RAF guys. They were so knowledgeable and happy to share their experiences . Well done to everyone, you deserve to do well and thank you for keeping such a piece of history so alive.

Amazing museum on local war history. Wonderful, friendly staff who are very knowledgeable. Museum looks small from the outside but is like a tardis with so many exhibits. Highly recommend a visit. I went with the scout group so went during the week but open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays.

For what would be considered as a small museum, the quality and quantity of exhibits is exceptional. The staff are very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. We paid to go in and ended up with a guided tour. If you like World War One and predominantly World War Two history, then you should put this high up your list of must visit. Thoroughly enjoyed and will be going back soon.
